| My first thought was to strip down windows xp3 to a dark, text only (no icon), clean minimal OS. Had some terrible ideas like disabling whatever I can. It would have mean re-installing the whole thing with one simple thought : mean, minimal and fast. But I guess I'm too old, I love my tv shows evening so I drop back to "candy minimalism". Visual style: Haru (mod by me) Styler toolbar: Unity (mod by me) slickrun bblean 1.17 (bbslit, bbpager, bbtray, bbmemshrink) I don't know where I'll go next but be sure to find there. Cheers! | ||

| cthu1hu | Nice, and sort of gothic. I've seen a few visual styles lately, that come with a blank icon, to get the iconless interface, I presume. Seems like a lot of work though. |
| meanmechanics | Yeah, I've tried 1 of them but I must be doing something wrong coz ev'rytime I reload xp some of the xp's icons show back. Anyway while reading through some tweaking I stepped back because some of them concern the registry and I've always been unlucky with the registry... |
