Here we see something that I mentioned on a few occasions: blackbox and litestep running at the same time. This is bblean 1.16 running along with the LSDistro variant of LiteStep. The four silver gray "brushed aluminum" looking bits and the menus are LiteStep. The rest (including the window skinner) is blackbox. Notice how the tooltray (rightmost gray silver thing) is a draggable box. Of particular interest is the task "stack" in the lower left area of the screen (just to the right of the multiamp vertical bar). The tasks stack vertically in a lsbox, which is itself draggable and hidable. Also of interest is the fact that the LiteStep menus here are transparent. People are always learnedly telling me that transparency can't be done in windows ME yet there it is. Ha! The Litestep theme is "thoogera 2" by myself and the bblean style is "regic", also by myself. |

Weird.. Never was a huge fan of lightstep. Looks kind of neat but I will stay with bblean. |
That is cool blockhead. I know LiteStep started in with doing a blackbox type color styling thing. That would integrate LiteStep & blackbox even more. LiteStep when combined with bbkontroller can be kind of interesting too.. LiteStep modules controlling blackbox broams. |
Is that DR. Who daleks on the wall paper, cool |
I am using LS since 1998 and still have LS on one of my boxes. I have tried the combination myself, but I think the two shells should remain happily divorced - i.e. separete. Besides, they make for a HEAVY environment. BTW, this is a great LS theme, blockhead. Kudos! |
